Nurse Harrow Joins Deadlock After 110 Million Community Votes

Valve has added Nurse Harrow to Deadlock, the final winner of the City Never Sleeps hero vote that closed with 110 million ballots cast across the entire event, the company's voting statistics show.

A support hero with unorthodox methods

Nurse Harrow rounds out a voting sequence that ran through the City Never Sleeps release and added one hero per round: Rat King first, then Baba, Solomon, Deadman Danny, Violet, and finally Nurse Harrow, a support with unorthodox methods. Valve's figures, relayed in coverage on October 21, 2026, put 22,194 players who voted exclusively for her, and one account that cast exactly 1,000 votes for her alone.

Valve also noted in its statistics post that Nurse Harrow's voters were the game's strongest: "Nurse Harrow voters consistently proved to have a higher win rate over all other hero voters." The people who wanted a new support on the roster were, on average, its most successful players.

110 million votes for an unreleased game

The scale of the event is the striking part. Deadlock remains listed in early development on Steam, Windows-only, with no release date announced, and Valve has run its roster additions through successive community votes rather than its own release schedule. The 110 million figure is the total across every round of the event, not a count for Nurse Harrow alone, and Valve has not said whether another voting event is coming.
