Master of Chaos: Beat or Break the Game is an action roguelite that will have you playing as a wizard who is not the chosen one or a tragic hero, but just an ordinary little wizard who thought, "How hard can it be?"
Perfect Execution Games
"Battle hordes of enemies and epic bosses in this unique take on a bullet-heaven roguelite where the faster you kill, the stronger you become. Gather relics and choose the abilities that augment your playstyle, creating ridiculously powerful synergies. Transcend the definition of bullet heaven! Cover the whole zone with auras that kill enemies as they spawn! Summon a flurry of weapons to do your bidding!" — Steam description.
Perfect Execution Games
The game's combat has two main mechanics: combos and chainable counterattacks. The combo is always active, granting more bounces as the combo grows. Every time you successfully counterattack, you can repeat the action immediately.
Every ability interacts with every other — add one, and a single projectile becomes three. Add another, and they're spinning in wild spirals. You gain abilities by collecting relics from boxes, minibosses, or regular enemies.
But you can also break the game. Stack enough upgrades, chain enough kills, push your combo to the limit, and the game itself will start to crumble. Enemies can freeze in a loading state or turn into 2D sprites; the resolution will drop, and the game will have no choice but to give you the win.

Master of Chaos: Beat or Break the Game is set to be released in Q1 2027, but you can download the demo or add it to your wishlist on Steam.
