Aquaplus has announced that CTCTYO is producing a real-life wearable version of HMX-12 Multi’s head sensor unit from ToHeart, in collaboration with Cospa.
The project is being developed under the concept that Kurusugawa Electronics, the fictional company responsible for HMX-12 Multi in ToHeart, commissioned CTCTYO to manufacture the sensor unit.
Multi is one of the central characters from ToHeart and is a prototype household robot developed by Kurusugawa Electronics. It will be unveiled and set for pre-order at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

About ToHeart
The original ToHeart is a Japanese visual novel developed by Aquaplus and released in 1997. It focuses on the daily life of high school student Hiroyuki Fujita, who reconnects with childhood friends and meets new characters.
ToHeart became a beloved classic and received an anime adaptation in 1999. It then received several sequels, merchandise, and numerous forms of supplemental media that have remained moderately relevant.
In the remake, the opening and subsequent event scenes are presented in cinematic 3D. The visual novel is available to read in adventure or novel formats, with options for new or old voiceovers.
Furthermore, the protagonist is voiced, and a guide function is implemented to direct players toward the desired routes of the heroines. However, no new heroine routes or minigames from the game’s previous versions are included.
ToHeart is available on PC via Steam in the West. Japan also has the title on Nintendo Switch. Two DLC scenarios were also released.
